We are now home buyers :) We closed yesterday afternoon. It's been really stressful & I don't think that's about to change. Hopefully we will be moved in by Thanksgiving, if not then by the 30th (William's b-day)
It's a huge house, it was built in 1973, so the rooms are huge!!! It has 4 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, dining room, playroom/Mommy's office, work room for Robert (4th bedroom if needed) & the garage was converted to 2 rooms, a 5th room if needed & the laundry room/dogs room. It has a huge front porch, front yard & a fenced in backyard. It also has a swimming pool, that will not be used until it has a fence around the pool itself, the yard has a fence, but I feel safer with a fence around the pool as well. Anyway enough rambling for now :)
We bought the house from Robert's sister. She has lived in it for the past 8 yrs & has had 6 kids since she moved in. William will finally have his own room. Chandler & Steven will share a room & Braeden will be with us for at least 1 yr. This also gives us a guest room, which for now Arie & Lonnie will have that room.
I have mixed emotions about this step in our lives, but I know it's a step that we needed to take. I know that there is a bunch of stuff that we will need to do to get settled in & I think that's what bothers me most. I also know that God will not give us more than we can handle.
