I have always seen midwives in previous pg. This was only the 3rd or 4th time I've seen a male dr. But he was a hoot. William went with me to help me out with Zack. He was interacting with William, and Zack, making them feel welcome. He tried to hear the heartbeat, but since baby is still so little, we didn't get to. I'm okay with that because with Steven we didn't hear it with the doppler until 14 wks. So then we went into his office to talk, he asked some questions, I asked some & that was that. He said something about having a nuchal translucency screen done, I've never had one before, but I went ahead & made the appt for it. So I will get to see the baby in 2 wks, and hopefully I will get some pics & get to hear the heartbeat. They are also going with Apr 1st as my EDD since that's where the baby measured at my last u/s. Will have more updates later.
I am a 40 year old Mother of 6 sons. I'm originally from Washington State and my hubby from Georgia. We met in WA back in Feb 1995, and moved to GA in July 1996, to eventually get married and raise our family. At the time I had no idea that meant having 6 boys, they range from 7 years old to 21 years old.

New OB
I went for my first appt with my new ob this morning. I have to say that I was so much happier with this office, then the last. I walked in & felt welcome! Everyone was really nice as well. I didn't have to do the normal stuff because I had just done it with the other ob.
