Went to the Cardiologist yesterday morning, had an ekg done. Dr talked to me about my symptoms & what is happening when I have problems, as well as how long they last, etc. He kept me on the meds I have been on, and wants me to take them once a day instead of when needed. I will also be going in on Thursday to have another heart monitor put on, and will need to wear that for 24 hrs.
He says that he thinks it may just be my heart skipping a few beats, and then trying to catch up, or something like this ** What is supraventricular tachycardia?
Supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) means that from time to time your heart beats very fast for a reason other than exercise, high fever, or stress. ** He also thinks that it will go away after birth, if not we can perform a procedure to stop it.
I go back in 3 weeks to see how things are going.
