I wrote this to the Kroger Company yesterday regarding their Baby Club Program. I am still waiting for a response, they said 24-48 hrs.
My comment today is in regards to the Baby Club program. I made a call to the customer service line about the Baby Club Program to see if it still allowed you to center it around a specific child. Well, I was informed that your company will be doing away with the Baby Club & will now be focusing on other programs, such as schools. This upsets me a great deal & I will explain why. Yesl, I'm glad that my older child's schools will benefit from these new programs, I still have other children that aren't in school. What program will they have? Publix has a baby club (not as good as Kroger) & a Preschool Program for kids aged 2-5 I believe, these programs work too. They also help the school as well.
I have been a long time member of the Baby Club since 1997 in fact. I joined when I was pg with my oldest child, & I have been using it ever since. Now I'm on my 4th child & I find out that it will no longer benefit me. I have refused to purchase baby items at other establishments like Walmart, Publix, etc, because of the Baby Club & the fact that I would receive the $10 gift certificate for spending $200 there. I really wish that I could tell you just how much I have spent on Baby products at your stores in the past 10 yrs, all I know is, that it's a lot.
I have been a long time commited shopper of Kroger, I refuse to shop anywhere else for groceries, & will continue to do so. But as far as Baby Care products, I guess I will have to shop somewhere like Walmart (where it is generally cheaper for these items)
I've never heard of the Baby club there but it sounds like a great thing! Hopefully they'll get enough letters like this one to change policy.
ReplyDeleteP.S. I've missed you on SK! Are you just really busy these days?
