It started off that we were going to go out on a friend's boat for the day. But this morning we found out he couldn't get the boat from storage. So we decided to take the kids to the lake. We happened to find this quiet spot right on the shore & amazingly there was no one else there.
The kids put on their life vests & went into the water. They all had such a blast. I got Braeden in the water, he loved it the first time, but when I tried to put him in later, he wasn't that thrilled about it. I guess when the water gets warmer he will like it more. It wasn't like his water in the bathtub that he loves so much. Robert took Chandler across part of the lake to an island & then back, he loved it.
We are hoping next time to have the boat, but I think the kids would much rather play in the water. Unfortuneatly I didn't get any pics of them in the water, didn't have my video camera & left my cell phone in the truck. Maybe next time :)
That sounds like a fun day!! I love the lake! Jackson was the same as Braeden with the cold temp of the ocean. Very unsure and not all too pleased.
