Today I booked the flights for our vacation this summer to Seattle. We
are flying back to WA to see my family & watch my little sister
(27) get married. :) I am so excited to see everyone, and meet my new
niece, well she's 14 mo old, not exactly new, but I've never met her.
It's been 2 yrs since we saw my family, then we went to Seattle
&then to OR for my Grandparents 50th Wedding Anniversary & renewal of their vows!
Since most of my family lives in Seattle, it will be nice to see them all
again. My Dad is getting worse, he has a condition that effects his
back mainly, but in turn effects everything else. He may not be able to
walk much longer, so I really want to be able to dance with him at my
sister's wedding since I didn't get to at mine. Also my grandmother is
in arehabilitation center because she had her leg amputated a few
months ago as a result of her diabetes. My grandfather has cancer
again, he is having surgery next week for that. So with all of these
things going on, it will be nice to see them again.
I think all in all it will be a good vacation. I only wish we could stay longer than 8 days.
That must be an absolute relief! I hope you get to enjoy your trip!
ReplyDeleteWow! That's a long time to go with out seeing your family! All my extended family (gparents, aunts, uncles, etc.) live in California, so I know how you feel! I hope it's a WONDERFUL vacation! =) I bet Braeden and your neice will hit it off, too!
