So after over 2 weeks of searching, we finally found a vehicle. It's a 1998 Dodge Caravan. We paid $300 for it because it needs a new transmission. We found a transmission for $850, so with all that we are still coming out better than if we had to find a working vehicle. We only got $1300 for my truck, it was totaled out. They gave Robert $800 to fix his tailgate.
So with any luck my van should be up & running in a few weeks. I am so tired of missing out on work, having to ask to borrow hubby's vehicle. Our nephew has to take me back & forth from work, it's so not cool anymore.
But the van will be great, holds 7, so that will fit the 6 of us, and our nephew, or the 6 of us & another baby, which we are still hoping for!
