So my Dad & his parents were here from July 5th to July 24th. It was so great to have them here, but was a relief when they went home. With the exception of my dad, I wish he could have stayed a little longer, or would move here. But unfortunately my mom won't move here.
I had my last surgery on the 25th, it went well, only lasted about 15 min. Foot has movement (dr played with it while I was sleeping, moving & bending it anyway he could). I have to keep this bandage on for 2 weeks, but I'm done with casts :) That made my day!
The boys start school in 12 days, William is entering 5th grade, Chandler 3rd grade, & Steven starts Kindergarten! They are all excited to see who their teachers are, and get back to see their old friends. We can go to the school on Fri to see the list of teachers on the door, and then we go meet them next Thurs for orientation. And then they start on the 11th.
Our dogs Moo Moo (female) and Rufus (male) had a litter of 10 puppies on July 11th, unfortunately 1 died on the 15th. She gave birth to 6 females & 4 males. We are keeping one of them, his name is Booger :) He's mostly white with light brindle patches.
Lastly, I'm planning Braeden's party. I sent invites out over 2 mo ago, and yet most people still haven't responded. It never fails I am expected to be at everyone else's parties, but when it's my kids turn, no one can show. The same happened with Steven's party in April. I am done, from now on, no one will receive invites, I'm not going to waste my time & energy to plan parties, that no one is going to attend. So it will just be a family thing, and if they want to invite friends from school, that's fine.
